ATHLETIC ENDURANCE/RECOVERY and Research

1. TNJ and Athletic Endurance This study by Tahitian Noni scientists shows people who drink TAHITIAN NONI® Juice experience a 21% increase in athletic performance, due to high antioxidant activity. Athletes who drank TAHITIAN NONI® Juice were able to run longer, faster and with more endurance.* http://www.academicjournals.org/jmpr/PDF/pdf2008/July/Palu%20et%20al.pdf

ADDITIONAL RESEARCH

1. Literature review and recent advances This is a study conducted by Tahitian Noni scientists outlining the history, research and benefits behind TAHITIAN NONI® Juice. The study includes references to Dr. Ralph Heinicke’s groundbreaking research. A great overview of everything we now know about the noni fruit. http://www.chinaphar.com/1671-4083/23/1127.pdf 2. A complete review of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice Noni has been used by Tahitians for thousands of years, but only recently has it become a popular item for mainstream consumers. This popularity has raised several questions about the noni fruit, and in this study Tahitian Noni scientists conduct several tests to verify that the noni fruit and TAHITIAN NONI Juice are, in fact, safe for consumption. http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/full/10.1111/j.1750-3841.2006.00164.x 3. Maintaining joint health Researchers study the effects of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice on neck and joint pain, and find that those who combine TAHITIAN NONI® Juice with traditional therapy experience a significant decrease in pain. http://www.ajol.info/viewarticle.php?id=29710 4. Improving quality of life for postmenopausal women Tahitian Noni International scientists study the effects of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice on postmenopausal women. Researchers study the effects of the juice as it relates to bone density, circulation and other postmenopausal issues. http://www.liebertonline.com/doi/abs/10.1089%2Facm.2004.10.737 5. Improving quality of life for cancer patients Cancer patients were given freeze-dried noni in capsule form to test its effects on their quality of life. Noni has been reported to increase function, and it has even been reported to have anti-cancer activity. http://www.isoqol.org/2005ConfAbstracts.pdf 6. Reducing cancer risk in smokers Led by Dr. Mian Ying-Wang, researchers record the effects of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice on smokers who are in danger of contracting cancer. The juice’s antioxidant levels may have anti-cancer activity, according to the study, and the risk of cancer was decreased significantly among those smokers who drank 1-4 oz. of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice for one month. http://www.abstractsonline.com/viewer/viewAbstract.asp?CKey={C9ADCEF2-C9A3-4D02-922B-1982DDD964AF} &MKey={E3F4019C-0A43-4514-8F66-B86DC90CD935}&AKey={728BCE9C-121B-46B9-A8EE-DC51FDFC6C15}&SKey={2C920D5B-ABFF-48AE-87CD-2A02FF72788B}

How NONI works?

Dr. Ralph Heinicke , a noted American biochemist, had a potentially groundbreaking revelation while studying pineapple enzymes. He realized that a certain alkaloid called Xeronine may play a key role in encouraging proper cell function and growth in the human body. Xeronine is formed in the intestine, where a chemical reaction occurs between Proxeronine and Proxeronase . Dr. Heinicke realized that these two substances in the reaction exist in abundance in the Noni fruit..
