Haarhuis, credits Tahitian Noni Bioactives with his incredible endurance, recovery and energy. "I feel that I have increased energy and more endurance," he said. "I drink it every day and it really helps me feel better."

Begin today to
I thought I’d veer off a little and highlight an athlete who makeS Tahtitian Noni part of his health regimen:
There are some pretty amazing people out there who love and endorse Tahitian Noni International and its products. One of those amazing people is Ian Adamson.
Recently we caught up with Ian to learn a little bit about what makes him tick. Ian is an incredible athlete, a wonderful person, and I’m guessing you’ll be pretty impressed with his accomplishments. Let’s get to know Ian a little better, and find out why he depends on Tahitian Noni Bioactive Beverage to keep him going strong.
Tahitian Noni International: Ian, it’s so great to be with you! For those of you who don’t know you, please give us a little introduction.
Ian Adamson: My name is Ian Adamson and I live in Boulder, Colorado. I was born in Sydney, Australia and moved to the US in 1991 as a bio-medical engineer. I’m now a dual US/Australian citizen.
TNI: You are a true multi-sport athlete. What exactly does that mean, and in what sports do you compete?
IA: I’m an ultra-endurance athlete, which means I compete in long distance races–anything over a 26.2 mile running marathon in length (or equivalent). I’m a multi-sport athlete which means I compete in many sports, sometimes many in one race. This may include running, cycling, kayaking, swimming, climbing, mountaineering, horseback riding, sailing, skiing … pretty much anything non-motorized.
TNI: WOW! Anything over 26.2 miles? Crazy! How long have you competed like this?
IA: My first experience in ultra-endurance competition was in 1984 in a 70 mile kayak race. I placed 3rd and was hooked.
TNI: What made you decide to be an ultra-endurance athlete?
IA: I have always been a Jack of all sports, so when adventure racing (events like the Eco-Challenge and Primal Quest) became popular it was a natural fit. The Eco-Challenge introduced millions of people (and sponsors) to the sport in the US in 1995 and gave me the opportunity to become a professional athlete.
TNI: You’ve been involved in so many races and events–what has been your greatest achievement as a competitor? IA: Competition has been kind to me over the years, but a few highlights stand out. Winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the ESPN X-Games, my 7th adventure racing World Championship win in 2006 and current Guinness Book World Record for endurance kayaking (262 miles in 24 hours) are my favorites.
TNI: Impressive! I love that you’re a Guiness World Record holder! Now I’m sure you face so many challenges as an ultra-endurance athlete. What is your greatest competitive challenge?
IA: This year’s Badwater Ultramarathon (July 12th) is proving to be my biggest challenge to date. This is a single sport (running only), starting at the hottest time of the year and continuing non-stop for 135 miles to Mt Whitney portal. Daytime temperatures can average 140 degrees and there is over 16,000 ft of elevation gain.
TNI: UNBELIEVABLE! So I’m assuming Tahitian Noni Bioactive Beverages are a big part of your training routine. When were you introduced to Tahitian Noni Bioactive Beverage?
IA: Merilee Johnson (daughter of Lil) introduced me to the Juice in (about) 2001. There is no question that TNBB has been a contributing factor to the longevity and success of my athletic career.
TNI: How do you use Tahitian Noni Bioactive Beverage and other TNI products in your training?
IA: I drink TNBB and take supplements daily for training and health maintenance.
TNI: Do you consider TNI Products an important part of your daily routine?
IA: Absolutely. It is ESPECIALLY important to allow me to maintain the highest level of fitness and remain healthy. Heavy endurance training creates immense stress on your body and immune system and requires top quality nutrition. Tahitian Noni Bioactive Beverage and all the other TNI products help me maintain physical capacity and mental acuity necessary to compete at the highest level of competition. Personal care products protect me from the elements and help me maintain my youthful appearance!
I must say I’m impressed, but I’m so tempted to put a clip from super Nanny here that includes a mother running after toddlers, or staying up waiting for a teenager to come home, or even a father who works all day and is then expected to dig deep and find the energy when he gets home to help out around the house and spend time with the kids.
We may not all be marathon runners, or extreme fighters, but each and everyone of us have our own version of being an athlete in our own lives. The pulls on our energy and energy reserves are our personal mount Everest. We’ve got to get it done… get it all done. What works for Ian can work for us.
Consistent ingestion of Tahitian Noni Juice has compounded benefits. Experts advise drinking at least a few ounces a day on a consistent basis to realize the numerous health benefits.
Something to ponder is the pain relieving effect of a Noni habit.
As a side bar, think about this:
The interesting thing about human breast milk is that while formula has come close to replicating natures’ provision, there are substances in human milk that scientists still can’t identify. What greatly unnerves me is that for many infants formula is their sole intake.
What are they missing, and what will be the implications of its absence? We can take solace in the fact that millions of formula fed infants have grown to healthy and strong adulthood with no apparent loss due to the missing elements.
But still I wonder…about ‘whatever it is,’ what is its purpose? What does its absence purport for our systems? Nature works in extreme synchrony. Sunlight, photosynthesis…plants take in carbon dioxide, and emit oxygen, etc,…ahhh.
Now ponder this:
Tahitian Noni has been found to have many obscure nutrients. One such nutrient or health protein is the enzyme scopoletin. Tahitian Noni Juice lists as one of it’s many attributes the benefit of relieving or lessening muscle aches and pains. Seems to be an exaggeration until you consider the nutrient that causes the effect – the enzyme scopoletin.
Over the counter analgesics such as Advil, Aspirin, Aleve, etc., are not to be negated, and certainly have an effect in short order,…but those reading this blog are looking for healthy alternatives. Understanding the role of the health protein ‘scopoletin’ found naturally in Tahitian Noni Juice is just one more reason to:
They are the zappers…they reduce free radicals and boost the immune system
Help maintain a healthy HDL cholesterol
Increase energy
Promote heart health
They’re stable resulting in their resisting degradation usually encountered during processing and storage. We all worry about how much nutritional value is still in the food once it gets to our table.
We are the captain’s of our fate so to speak. We can build our immune systems or ignore them and hope for the best. Natural antioxidants promote antioxidants health; A proactive approach to health is a wise investment in your most important asset – yourself.
Let Food be Your Medicine and Medicine Be Your Food. As far back as Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, we knew that food can heal and promote health. We have simply confirmed old knowledge with current science.
Biochemist Ralph Heinicke and Botanist Isabel Abbott both point to numerous biological activities of properties contained in Noni.
Heinicke highlighted Xeronine, a precursor of Proxeronine which is able to modify the molecular structure of proteins. Health Proteins not
structured properly….don’t work properly. Xeronine interacts with health proteins and makes them fold into its proper conformation !
( Don’t know about you, but I’m lovin it…..! )
Abbott spoke to the "bottom line" when speaking of the "pharmacologically active enzymes" in Noni saying that she was convinced of the
tremendous benefits achieved by furnishing the body with a proper supply of Noni.
Dr. Wang in his article on Noni referred to the supplement’s high demand in alternative medicine circles for multiple illnesses such as:
Arthritis
Diabetes
High Blood Pressure
Muscle Aches and Pains
Menstrual Difficulties
Headaches
Heart Disease
AIDS
Cancers
Gastric Ulcers
Sprains
Mental Depression
Senility
Poor Digestion
Atherosclerosis
Blood Vessel Problems
Drug Addiction
Scientists and many of us know that health proteins are the gears that help run the body. It’s a "win-win" if those gears (our health proteins) are in optimal working order.
