The jury is quibbling relative to the benefits of colon cleansing.
Orthodox medicine is adamant that the practice has no value and is an exercise in futility. Their advice is to eat fiber, follow sound nutritional practices and you’ll be fine. They lament that it’s possible to deflora (strip healthy flora) your intestines. At the other end of the spectrum we find the alternative health community who vehemently contest the benefits of colon cleansing as a must do for optimized health and diminished gastrointestinal problems.
My position is “Let’s reason together.” Think about it. We all know what the colon does. It’s a conduit for our waste. No one disagrees that the transit time should be minimal, and if an MD is going to check us out, we have to cleanse, cleanse, cleanse for the examiner’s optimal visibility. For visibility they say! That translates to meaning what? It sounds a lot like there’s a residue that lines the colon. I’m sure there’s healthy flora, but that flora has company. Some company is more vile than others.
Cleansing in moderation is a win-win, just follow it with a yogurt chaser, if you avoid dairy, then make it a soy yogurt chaser but pull the best from cleansing and replace the flora naturally. You’ll find the clean up and out helps diminish food cravings because your ‘gut’ is calling less frequently for foods you want to avoid.
Always help your system. Never take a holiday from that, and for that reason it’s best to choose a cleanse that is pleasant, effective, and will build and nourish your system while cleansing.
For those involved in weight losing, those seeking not only weight loss, but also weight nutrition while shedding pounds, cleansing is a great way to kick start a new eating plan. When doing so, make it pleasurable with products that you’ll enjoy ingesting while on the road to your personal goals.
Stop the frustration of trying, yet not losing. Flip the switch in your system and get it done…
